Working together to bring

Urgent Stroke Support
A few days ago, we were told that Kenny’s mum was critically unwell. Her family feared the worst and they gathered around her. The situation was desperate.
We were able to arrange for a doctor to visit. After assessment and tests, a stroke was suspected.
Today, we’ve received hopeful news: with the right medication, she is expected to live.
Her daughter has been in tears—overwhelmed with both fear and now gratitude for the help she received.
This is the difference your support makes. In moments of crisis, it brings real help, real care, and real hope.
We were approached by parents whose toddler had suffered significant burns following a tragic oven accident and urgently needed medical treatment. With the nearest hospital several hours away, immediate support was critical. The Scottish Haitian Foundation provided emergency funds to help the family reach hospital, cover essential medical care, and buy food during this incredibly difficult time. Later, the family told us that this support helped save their little girl’s life.
Noeldina’s Journey to Better Health
Noeldina is Woddy’s mum, one of the children we proudly support by helping him attend school. Noeldina had been suffering from a stomach infection caused by bacteria in contaminated food or water, which had left her stomach painfully swollen, and she urgently needed medical attention.
TSHF were able to provide funds so she could see a doctor, receive the medicine she needed, and is already beginning to improve.
We are also pleased to share that the charity has secured a small patch of land beside our existing plot, and plans are now underway to build Noeldina a safe and secure home of her own.
